In response to the global challenges of 2020, Flusslab adapted its residency program to a virtual format, embracing the possibilities of the digital realm. The first edition of the residency unfolded across three sessions throughout the year, bringing together 16 participants from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
This unique online experience fostered collaboration beyond physical borders, creating a space for artistic exploration, dialogue, and innovation. Despite the distance, the Flusslab community thrived, proving that creativity knows no limits.
The inaugural edition laid the foundation for a dynamic and evolving platform, redefining what an artist residency can be in a rapidly changing world.
In this first edition, the three participants worked on the following projects: Mariela Limerutti: "Pan-Demia", Misael Samano: "Parece Que Todos Estamos Pensando Lo Mismo" and Rosario Aróstegui: "Reversión".
