This exhibition brings together a group of seven residents who explored —during two weeks of online residency— the possibilities of virtuality as dynamics of reflection, invention, and action. As a result of this multidisciplinary and collective work process, two collaborative pieces are presented. Both materialize in digital platforms and reflect on the appropriation and construction of habitable spaces.

With the general aim of considering digital platforms as sites for project production and visibility, Bárbara Bielitz (Berlin, Germany), Sebastian Castro (San Juan, ARG), and Evelyn Ruiz (Mexico) created the piece Corrupted Paradises. Obsolescent Island of Technological Disillusionments, as a virtual dimension to develop their work and question aspects of technological duality: the benefits of hyperconnection and the disadvantages of hyperconsumption and its environmental impact. This island is a participatory virtual space that the three artists open for interaction and collective reflection.
